TSU has prepared a dossier to support and guide the landscape plan and aesthetic uplift for the GoTN FSTP facilities. This can also be applied to other treatment facilities such as the STPs and Decanting stations. This document suggests guidance on choosing landscape options with respect to the soil types in Tamil Nadu, provides guidance to plan circulation for pedestrians in the site, options for toilets and containment options to be deployed in the site and also provides samples of key communication material (hoardings, wall paintings, posters, etc) which can be used at the FSTP site as relevant. It also has model functional landscape layouts for each type of GoTN FSTP (20,30 and 40 KLD).
