TNUSSP has collaborated with TCC on initiatives such as the School Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion (SSHP) programme, and has also planned to mobilise urban communities through the community-led total sanitation (CLTS) method to address sanitation-related issues in various parts of the city.

Capacity building programmes for various stakeholders such as masons and desludging operators are conducted to increase awareness of the crucial role they play in promoting safe sanitation and for enhancing their skills and expertise.
