To establish an enabling environment for FSM in Trichy, a city working group was formed at the beginning of the programme. The group is comprised of TCC officers, representatives of the TSU and partner organisations.

As part of TNUSSP’s efforts to strengthen the institutional framework for better sanitation outcomes, gaps in governance were identified within existing sanitation-related roles and responsibilities at TCC, and new FSM processes, roles, and responsibilities to be institutionalised were suggested.
