A formal training session titled “Faecal Sludge Management: Strategy and Urban-Rural Convergence” was conducted for 179 consultants from the District Project Management Units (DPMU) in March 2024. This training was held to plan and implement SBM-G across all rural districts of Tamil Nadu.

The session was led by Sasikumar Easwaramurthy, Senior Specialist at IIHS-TNUSSP. This session was an integral component in the day-long training program organized by the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (RDPR) department of Tamil Nadu at the State Institute of Development.
