TNUSSP evaluated the existing governance mechanisms and institutional arrangements as a step towards strengthening the enabling environment for sustainability of FSM in the State of Tamil Nadu. This document provides information on the existing systems and procedures along with recommendations for improvements and new processes affecting FSM service delivery along the sanitation service chain at the State, Regional and ULB level.

These recommendations can be used by other Indian states.
